What You’ll Do:

  • Provide attentive supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of all children
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate Pre-K curriculum and activities
  • Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and communication development
  • Maintain an organized classroom that meets Playmates, accreditation, and state licensing standards
  • Complete required lesson plans, observations, documentation, and daily data collection
  • Communicate individual children’s needs, concerns, or developmental needs to the Site Director
  • Assist with snacks, meals, transitions, and daily classroom routines
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly classroom and surrounding areas
  • Work cooperatively with children, families, teachers, and administration
  • Attend staff meetings, training, evaluations, and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all Playmates policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Director or supervisor

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education and experience that meet applicable state licensing requirements
  • Previous experience working with young children is preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
  • Knowledge of child development, state standards, health, safety, sanitation, and childcare regulations
  • Ability to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
  • Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and leadership skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively with children and families
  • Basic computer skills and ability to complete required documentation

Position Details:

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist teachers and classrooms wherever additional support is needed
  • Help supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
  • Provide coverage for staff during breaks, transitions, and other daily needs
  • Assist with classroom routines, meals, snacks, and clean-up
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist the Lead or Group Teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
  • Support the implementation of planned curriculum and age-appropriate activities
  • Help create an engaging classroom environment through displays, artwork, learning materials, and activities
  • Assist with snack and meal times while supervising children
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom and surrounding areas
  • Supervise children and support their safety, well-being, and individual needs
  • Assist in maintaining classroom standards and following all licensing requirements
  • Communicate any concerns, special needs, or suspected child abuse or neglect to the appropriate supervisor
  • Attend staff meetings, training, planning, and evaluation meetings
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all Playmates policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, CDA, ACDS certificate, or equivalent preferred/required as applicable
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to work well with others and follow directions
  • Positive, energetic, and caring attitude toward children and coworkers
  • Ability to support children and families through transitions

  • Provide attentive care, supervision, and instruction while ensuring the safety and well-being of all children
  • Follow the daily classroom schedule while responding to each infant’s individual needs and routines
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities based on state standards
  • Create individualized activities and plans for infants under 12 months and children with specialized needs
  • Complete required assessments, documentation, meal sheets, and family conference forms within established time frames
  • Communicate assessment results and developmental information with families
  • Assist with meals and snacks and supervise children during mealtimes
  • Change diapers every two hours or as needed, following proper procedures and completing required documentation
